After Calah stood up Steven at Jesse and Alli’s wedding, which took place in October 2024, a post-filming update at the end of Season 2 stated that they had not seen each other since that December but did “continue to text weekly.” By the time Steven spoke to BravoTV.com in August 2025, he insisted that his relationship with Calah was officially over.
“Calah and I do not have a relationship, and that door has closed permanently,” Steven revealed. “There’s just been so much that has happened between us and between her and my family where sometimes it’s better to start fresh with someone new than try to go back and work through the extremely tough situations and heal from them when there’s still so much built up inside.”
Indeed, Calah had clashed with Steven’s family throughout their tumultuous relationship, but Season 2 marked a major turning point. Not only had matriarch Kristi McBee alluded to Calah being a “gold digger,” but the latter also got into a heated confrontation with his brother Cole McBee during a getaway to the Ozarks. Afterward, she accused Steven of not supporting her and left the trip early in tears. Despite the two continuing to see each other, their relationship never fully recovered.

“I still care about her, but watching everything play back is hard and brings back the emotions of that time period, so it’d be tough to still continue to talk in any capacity while watching episodes play back and not feel emotionally charged,” Steven continued in his exclusive interview. “I wish her nothing but the absolute best and for all of the success in her life. She’s an incredible woman, and we have so many great memories created together, even through the tough times.”
Steven echoed those comments in a more recent update during BravoCon 2025 in November, telling attendees, “Everything is 100 percent done and has been for a little bit now. … Obviously, I still care about her so much and want nothing but the best for her.”
What Calah Jackson has been doing since her split from Steven McBee Jr.

Calah, for her part, unpacked her choice to skip out on being Steven’s date to his brother’s wedding, explaining to a producer in the Season 2 finale, “Our relationship has been a rollercoaster ride, and I need peace in my life. I don’t want any more drama. So, today was not an easy decision for me, but it’s time to end this and jump off the crazy train.”
Following her and Steven’s breakup, Calah documented on social media how she had been busy traveling, sharing looks into her post-spit vacations to Aspen and Los Angeles, for example. She also announced late last year that she’d begun a “new chapter” in a new home in Dallas.
More recently, Calah announced via Instagram in June 2026 that her life has been “booked and busy” lately, as she remains focused on her career as a social media influencer.
